Uncover the genetic basis of adaptive traits

We combine field- and greenhouse based experiments with population genetics and ecological geneomics to uncover the genetic variants underpinning climate change adaptation. In particular, we combine the resurrection approach with genome-wide DNA or RNA sequencing to reveal changes in allele frequencies or gene expression between ancestors and descendants, and ultimately uncover the genetic basis and mechanisms underlying phenotypic selection in response to climate change or changes in biotic pressures.
